Media Literacy in a Post-Truth World

On November 30, 2022, the Pell Center partnered with the League of Women Voters of Newport County to host media literacy expert Dr. Renee Hobbs, director of the Media Education Lab at the University of Rhode Island, who offered strategies for critical thinking and reflection as we process news and information in an age where disinformation is reshaping the way we understand the world around us.
